Our work process
- Contact Us
- When you first contact Unique, one of the team will be able to talk with you through your ideas and requirements. We can work from architects’ drawings, photos, basic sketches along with sizes to help provide you with a free no-obligation quotation.
- Quotation
- We will always endeavour to provide quotations within 24 hours. If your project is something out of the ordinary, then it may take a little longer.
- Placement of Order
- Once you are happy with the initial design and quotation, we will then raise an order, at this point your project will be assigned to a project coordinator.
- Site Survey
- Our surveyor will carry out a full site survey using the latest measuring technology during which we will be able to discuss any adjustments or requirements for the openings with either you, your builder or your architect.
- Cad and Technical drawings
- Once all details have been confirmed we will be able to produce full working drawings for your approval.
- Manufacturing
- Once all drawings have been confirmed our engineering department will be able to start work on your project, using the latest technology and equipment allows the team to produce precision engineering on every item. Every item is then carefully shipped to be galvanised and powder coated in your chosen finish.
- Assembly
- The same skilled team will then hand assemble each window, bringing together all components including weather seals and furniture. Finally, every item is put through various quality checks.
- Delivery
- Your products are ready for delivery and installation by our team of skilled installers.

We knocked through from our kitchen to our sitting room, and right from the start the team at Unique Steel Windows could not have been more helpful. I had researched lots of competitive companies, USW came recommended by an interior design friend, and i liked the quality of the doors and the competitive price. They were helpful with suggestions when we ordered, as we wanted high doors and no top panel, they even organised for me to visit a site they were installing. Our order was ready ahead of schedule and the fitting was simple, but thorough. I am super picky and the doors look amazing. It has transformed the space. I would recommend them highly.

They were experts from start to finish! They carefully took into account our space and recommended the best options, we were able to pick the color and style with ease. They were even able to account for our uneven wall and managed to create a custom piece that would make the end result look great.
They took extra care with our flooring which transitioned from tile to wood flooring and were able to even come back to fix it when the dividing floor strip needed extra glue due to our lifting floorboards.

I absolutely recommend Unique Steel windows to anyone looking to get doors or windows installed. The level service, quality and price I received from start to finish was first class. I had been wanting to install a glass curtain wall between my hallway and living room and French doors to the rear of the house in an industrial style I had been researching and contacting lots of different companies and had numerous quotes. Once I spoke to Dean from Unique I instantly knew I had hit on the right company for my project from the quick response to bring samples and to measure up and provide me with a full quote that was extremely competitive. Dean kept me up to date on the progress of the manufacture and bang on time they were ready for install. Wally the fitter was absolutely brilliant he helped my builders who were behind having the site ready for him to prepare without complaint and spent two really long days getting the job completed for me, left the site clean and tidy and cleaned the windows for me. Dean has kept in contact post install to make sure I’m happy the completed job. I would totally recommend Unique Steel windows, great job!
I rarely give 5 star reviews but The team at Unique Steel are the most professional team I’ve dealt with during my recent home renovation. From initial consultation, during installation and post completion of Unique Steel doors, I have been impressed by the team and how they work. I was given all the details about the product, they visited my home actual small scale version of the doors, sample colours were left with me and any follow-up questions were answered quickly. I was informed at each stage post order of when I could expect delivery. The installation team are incredible - they arrive on agreed day, they work all day as needed to complete the job - and around delays caused by my builder. I absolutely chose the right company to supply and fit this product and recommend them for the quality of the product, installation service and profession delivery end to end.
