We decided on Unique Steel over as we wanted the robustness of steel over aluminium and, having visited other specialists, we had a good initial meeting with Les where we discussed our requirements & options and he offered flexibility in design (handle size position, soft close, full opening) something not all specialists offer. From there through the design and approval stage and installation, all contact with Unique was professional, friendly and concise. We have been renovating a 1957 bungalow in ferring. We had opened up the kitchen to what was originally a dinning hall. A new wall was erected so there was a large opening  at the side of the now dinning room/ kitchen  which had to be closed with some form of door. We didn't want to loose the light coming from the kitchen windows , so this is where we contacted Unique Steel as they have a bespoke service to make a sliding door that fitted our requirements. At first we did think it was  quite expensive. But no one else could meet our requirements  so we went with unique steel. We are so happy that we did. We  were able to  choose our own ral colour for the finish, which is such a personal touch to ones project. We was very impressed with the service having their own site survey & updates  of the fitting day . The doors were fitted by 3 men left no mess very  polite made sure the doors worked on the sliding track. there was a slight problem with a couple of panes of glass, But this was sorted out straight away without any problem . overall it's been an excellent experience having unique steel design manufacturer and install our sliding doors.

Unique Steel Windows were recommended to us by another trade. We had initially placed an order with Fabco but after 12 weeks, multiple questions from them but no drawings produced we decided we needed a new supplier. Jason came around that week, to measure up and promised he could turn the windows around in our timeframe. He did exactly that. Even better, he came in cheaper than Fabco! My experience with Unique Steel Windows has been excellent. I did a lot of research into different suppliers of steel heritage/ crittall style doors and they were competitive on price and now that the door is installed I can confirm the quality is top notch too. Communication was great throughout and the attention to detail in identifying a very slight issue with one of the handles, and the speed in which they rectified it, speaks to the pride they take in their work. Your team made the experience so straightforward and seamless, they patiently answered all of my questions and welcomed me to their workshop before I ordered to see the product and finishes in person. They took care of every detail and installation, communicated regularly throughout the process and even delivered ahead of schedule.  Your team was so prompt and helpful and kind. As an interior designer, there’s nothing more valuable than working with a reliable supplier you never need to chase,  and with whom you can be confident your project is in good hands.
