This installation on Tarrant Street features a refined arrangement of W20 external doors and screens, designed to deliver both durability and understated elegance. The slim steel profiles create clean sightlines, allowing natural light to flow through the space while maintaining the strength and integrity expected of a high-quality steel system. The result is a subtle yet confident architectural presence that complements its garden setting.
Finished in RAL 9011 Graphite Black, the exterior presents a bold, contemporary edge that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding environment. This is paired with Imperial Brass furniture from the Westminster range, introducing a layer of warmth and heritage character. The combination of deep, dark framing and rich metallic detailing achieves a balanced aesthetic that feels both timeless and distinctive.
Positioned at the foot of the garden, the structure serves as a creative space, rented out to artists and opened to the public during Arundel’s annual art week. While the design brief remained intentionally simple, the precision of the installation ensures a seamless finish, offering a functional yet visually engaging setting that enhances the experience for both artists and visitors alike.
